God in the Silence

Savannah Eubanks, 18

For many teens, silence is scary—like being alone in the dark. But I think God sees silence as a time of reflection, of communicating, of getting to know each other. Silence is God’s way of reaching out to us, of comforting us and pouring grace into our lives.

Silence is our time to rest in the Lord, to tell God what is happening and how we feel, and then to be quiet and patient, listening for God to speak.

How has God been revealed to you in times of silence?
