Plan a Budget-Friendly Family Night

Kate Elise Gutierrez

  1. Walk to the local library, and check out the books you enjoyed as child. This time, read to your parents.
  2. Make dinner together by assigning each person a specific dish—soup, salad, meat, vegetables, dessert.
  3. Walk down memory lane by browsing through old family photos; then grab the camera to make new memories.
  4. Read a Bible story together, and discuss what it means.
  5. Volunteer together at a local soup kitchen, eat with the people being served, and listen to their stories. Share some of your own, and be blessed.
