What is Courage?

Jackie Montoya

Courage is accepting humility.
Courage is choosing the other path.
Courage is standing up for the weak.
Courage is being kind to the defenseless.
Courage is doing what it takes to be different.
Courage is choosing right over wrong.
It’s choosing to be your own self.
It’s swimming against the tide.
It’s being kind to those who are taunted.
It’s helping those who are hurting.
It’s listening to the cry of the poor and acting on their behalf.
It’s loving enemies.
Do you have what it takes?
Are you strong enough?
Are you courageous?
