Lisa Hibbs

All that I can speak now
is a sigh of sweet relief.
The words that I could say now
would interrupt the peace.

For the one more beautiful than all creation,
brighter than the stars,
gathered up my broken pieces
and holds me in his arms.

So I think that I’ll just stand here,
watch his grace flow down.
I’ll wade in the moment;
in this flood I’m gonna drown.

But please don’t miss who I was;
don’t cry for yesterday.
I’ve found a life worth living;
the old must fade away.

The words that I could say now
would interrupt the peace,
so all that I will speak now
is a sigh of sweet relief.
