The Potter’s Clay

Tino Mkumbi

He is the Potter, I am the clay
I am the clay
Clay not in the hands of any potter
But clay in the hands of life’s very own author
Specially picked from the volumes of the earth
I contain The Creator’s very own breath
Because I rest in His hands
To my every need He tends
Broken and remade several times
Each time He removes worldly themes
By His blood better and better I become
In the quest to be like all conquering King Christ The Uncreated Creator
What is a vessel made for but to serve its contents to any who would receive?
What is my purpose but to share His Spirit with any who would believe?
