I need faith. Sometimes (often) I worry I am not saved. I don’t feel God the way so many people do. I don’t feel excited about any of the things of God. I don’t hear Him speak to me.

One quote that I heard recently said that “the teacher is always quiet during a test,” God being the teacher, and you being tested. This scripture may also be comforting: “But from there you will search again for the Lord your God. And if you search for Him with all your heart and soul, you will find Him.” –Deuteronomy 4:29, NLT. God is often quiet when we feel that we need him most, but that does not mean He is not there, doesn’t care or love you. Have patience and faith and He will reveal Himself, maybe in very unexpected ways and places. God Bless you, and you are in my prayers.
