Pray for me. My mother is being mean to me (verbally) and I need to get away from her(by getting a public job or something.) It’s hard for me to get one because of my age. Pray for this situation. thanks.

I’ve been there once before. My mother and I did not communicate properly and it was so torturous. Our relationship has gotten much better, but there are still a few days where words will be said–but no one is perfect. I promise it gets better with age. Maybe you could speak with her and clear things up? Every situation is different, but it’s hard all the same. I will keep you in my prayers that you will be able to find peace with this disruptive hurt in your life. Remember, God doesn’t put you through anything he isn’t going to see you through. Keep strong!

Chelsey, that’s a very common thing for people to go through. My mother and I have had our times of not being able to get along with each other so I know how you feel. I’ll definitely be in prayer that this situation will straighten out and that you guys will be able to get along. As Liza said, it does get better with age.
Speaking to her about everything and trying to get things cleared up is definitely a step in the right direction. That’s one of the first things you should do. Even though it can sometimes be hard or awkward, it definitely helps in most cases.
I’ll be praying that God will bring you peace and that you and your mother can find a solution of some kind to the problem and that you guys will start being able to get along with one another.
Remember, God doesn’t put you through any more than you can handle (1 Corinthians 10:13). Just give the situation to God and continue to do your part to try and make things better.
God bless!
