Tiffany

I’m struggling with my relationship with Christ. i feel like i’ve grown so far away from Him, & when i try to get closer to him again everything seems to distract me. I’m tired of feeling the way that i am, i feel like i have no purpose in life, but i know thats not true. i know God created me for a reason.. i just wish i could see that reason.

Tiffany, it is good that you recognize your struggle in your relationship with God. That is the Holy Spirit working in you. When you are straying on your path with Jesus, the Holy Spirit is drawing you back. God has created us all for a purpose. It took me a long time to know what my purpose was and you know what? He is never done with us, never. Matthew 18:10-14 demonstrates that God seeks us out, we are precious to Him. I will pray for you, Tiffany, and I encourage you to pray to God, read the Bible, seek out verses that will encourage you. If you don’t know where to find them, do a google search on what you’re seeking and verses will come up. The Word is God speaking to us. The book of Psalms is filled with scriptures of how God sustains us, never fails us. “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure.” – Psalm 16:8-9 (NIV) “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) Spending more time in prayer, in reading the Bible, in fellowship with other believers, and less time letting the world fill us with the opposite of God’s truth is going to be a tremendous help to you. I encourage you to continually lay your worries, doubts, anxiety at Jesus’ feet and trust with your whole heart. He will never disappoint. I will pray for you, Tiffany.
