Hold to the Promise

Sierra Klotz, 16

Do Hard Things: A Teenage Rebellion Against Low Expectations is one of the best books I’ve read. The teen authors Alex and Brett Harris offer practical advice about how teenagers can bring honor and glory to God while breaking the mold of a typical teenager.

Before we are born, God calls us to be extraordinary. Check out Jeremiah’s call in Jeremiah 1:1–8.

After reading this book, I felt called to do something for God. After much prayer, I created Hold To The Promise, a place where anyone can talk and ask for advice. Through our Tumblr and Facebook pages, God has been using HTTP to reach out to people with love.
We don’t have to wait until we’re older to serve God. If we are faithful Christ-followers in our teen years, we can do extraordinary things now.

ACT ON IT: What can you do to bring honor and glory to God? How can you demonstrate God’s love?
