Robin Gericke, 17

Robin-breakwater IMG_3921 FtrWhile traveling in Maine, my family stopped to see a lighthouse; but what grabbed our attention was the mile-long breakwater, the path of rock that protected the bay from rough ocean waters.

Amazed that the water could be so choppy on one side and so calm on the other, I gave thanks for the peace God offers us from the troubles of the world.

He leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
Psalm 23:2b–3a (NIV)

Stay here awhile; tell God your troubles.
