Starting Over

Douglas Rose

Sometimes, the hardest words to say are “I was wrong.” Yet, they are life-giving words. Once we confess and ask God’s forgiveness, we can forgive ourselves and start over.

God of second chances, I was wrong, and I am sorry. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me” (Psalm 51:10, NRSV). Amen.
